Whisk egg batter until well mixed (amounts will vary depending on how many pieces of French toast you are making and your individual taste):
eggs, milk, vanilla a little sugar
Dunk bread slices in egg batter and then fry until cooked through.
Serve with fresh sliced bananas and strawberries (or use thawed frozen strawberries if fresh are not available.
Comment: We do this from time to time when we want to have a nice relaxed breakfast on a weekend. Sometimes we serve with bacon but this day we served with leftover slices of ham from dinner the night before.
