Strawberry Spinach Salad

2 10 oz bags baby spinach, washed and drained
1 quart strawberries, sliced

Dressing:
1/4 cup plus 2 1/2 tsp sugar (the original recipe called for 1/2 cup sugar but I thought it was way too sweet so I played with it until I liked the balance)
1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 tsp sesame seeds
2 tsp poppy seeds

Combine the strawberries and spinach. Combine the dressing ingredients and toss over the spinach and strawberries just before eating. I sometimes add sliced almonds to my portion after it is on my plate (Dean is allergic)

Note:  I bought a mushroom slicer years ago and I use it to slice strawberries.  An egg slicer will work too but sometimes they are not sturdy enough and break.  The mushroom slicer is strong and solid and works perfectly!
