Beef Terriyaki The Easy Way (Maureen’s way)

We find that bottled terriyaki sauces  are way too salty for us so I came up with a good solution….add a can of pineapple tidbits!  Cuts the salt and boosts the flavor.  Also acts as a tenderizer.  We do the same thing with chicken as well. Here is what I did:

1 bottle Island Terriyaki

1 regular sized can pineapple tidbits, with juice

1 package beef tips

1.  Combine terriyaki sauce and pineapple with juice in a container.

2.  Add beef tips.  Poke tips with a knife to help the marinade really get in there.

3. Marinate for several hours or overnight in fridge (overnight gets the best results.  We have also marinated then froze the meat in the marinade).

4. We usually grill these, but you can cook any way you like.
