Corn on the Cob

My mother and Dean’s mother both used to add milk to the corn water to sweeten the corn as it cooked.  I have been doing it this way for a couple of years now and it works out really great!


Corn on the cob, shucked and cleaned




1. Clean the corn

2. Boil the water

3. Add a splash of milk to the water

4. Add the corn to boiling water and cook about 10 minutes

4. rinse corn under hot water to get the milk water off and serve with butter, salt and pepper.
