I invented this one to use up things I had on hand that I didn’t want to go bad. It was a big hit! We had it as a side dish with American Chop Suey, but I think it would make a nice appetizer as well.
1 loaf frozen garlic bread
Mozzarella cheese, sliced
1. Open up the loaf of garlic bread and place both halves on a cookie sheet and bake for a few minutes until the bread starts to crisp on the bottom.
2. Place tomato slices on bread.
3. Top with slices of mozzarella.
4. Bake according to garlic bread package directions for temperature/until bread is cooked through and cheese is melted and slightly browned.
5. Cut and serve.
